In November of 2020 I scrolled across an add on Facebook of a salon for sale. At this point in my short career I was feeling stuck, unmotivated, and I could not find a sense of belonging. Lots of long nights were spent planning and thinking of all the “What if?”s until I finally made the decision, I was going to do it. I made a plan to create an environment where people could be themselves and feel at home while expressing their creativity through their work. I was determined to make my business succeed come rain or shine.

After almost two months of painting walls, buying product, and cleaning the salon top to bottom, on January 5th, 2021 Luna opened to the public for the first time ever! For three months I worked, and worked, and worked to keep my business afloat until I could find other stylists to work with me.

Flash forward one year, we have a full house of stylists that love their job, our clients that are so amazing to us, and we are growing not only as individuals, but as a team. This salon and the girls that work here remind me everyday how grateful I am. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them and our beautiful clients who continue to support us throughout our journey!

Ideas are just that until you make it a reality. Anything is possible.
